Monte Forte, Fort,
East Crete
Near the village Kato Krya, just two kilometers away, located on a hill along with the church of Agios Georgios, there are the ruins of a Venetian fortress called Monte Forte. The fortress was built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Venetians.
