Skinaria beach, a small beach with fine pebbles, is located about 3km southwest of Lefkogia village and is considered one of the best beaches in Crete. With crystal clear water, it gets rather deep almost immediately as you enter the sea. At the north side, the remains of a broken wooden boat-wreck lying at the seabed, is an interesting sight for the divers who are met very often at this beach.
